Pubs across England and Wales will be able to stay open later for the England-Mexico World Cup match, Sir Keir Starmer has announced. England's round-of-16 match against Mexico will kick off at 1am UK time on Monday, with the game not expected to finish until after 3am. The Three Lions were victorious on Wednesday night, defeating DR Congo 2-1, thanks to two late goals by captain Harry Kane. England are now one step closer to World Cup glory, but their next challenge is to beat Mexico at the Azteca stadium, in Mexico City. • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.itv.com/news Follow ITV News on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@itvnews?lang=en Follow ITV News on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on X: https://twitter.com/itvnews
