New Playstation games won’t be on discs from January 2028

Sony has announced that physical disc production will end in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles. The company said that this was in response to ‘shifting trends in consumer preference’. It also said that it would have no impact on games that already released or, or will be releasing, before 2028 in disc format. #playstation #gaming #disc
