The private sector finally showed signs of stabilising in June after three months of contraction, according to the Stanbic Bank Purchasing Index. But businesses say the worst of the cost pressures may not be over. While customer demand has started to recover, companies are facing their sharpest increase in selling prices on record as higher fuel-related costs continue to squeeze margins.
