Russia claimed it thwarted a major Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow. According to Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin, more than 200 drones fired from Ukraine were headed toward the capital within 24 hours. Russian air defences intercepted most of the drones at long range, while dozens were destroyed as they approached the city. Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to suffer deadly Russian strikes. Authorities say overnight attacks on Sumy killed three people, including a child, while dozens were injured.
