Is E20 petrol really damaging your car? Maruti Suzuki has dismissed concerns over corrosion, wear and tear, and engine life. Speaking to NDTV Profit, Senior Executive Officer Rahul Bharti said the company has tested E20 fuel extensively, including on vehicles manufactured before 2010, and has found no evidence of abnormal wear or tear. Bharti also said Maruti Suzuki serviced more than 2.5 crore vehicles in FY26, including over 1.5 crore older-generation cars, and found no increase in issues related to E20 fuel.
