Toyota Kirloskar Motor India Country Head Vikram Gulati speaks to NDTV Profit on the transition to E20 ethanol-blended petrol. He says Toyota and the wider auto industry have not seen any unusual vehicle issues linked to E20 fuel, nor any trend connecting insurance claims with E20 usage. Gulati explains that while E20 may reduce fuel efficiency by around 3–4% because ethanol has lower energy density, its higher octane rating offers engineering benefits. He also says the government is encouraging flex-fuel vehicles that can run on multiple ethanol blends, giving consumers more flexibility in the future. Watch the full interview for Toyota's take on E20 fuel, mileage, engine performance and India's ethanol roadmap. #Toyota #E20 #Ethanol #AutoNews #Cars #FlexFuel #NDTVProfit #BusinessNews For more videos subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NDTVProfitIndia Visit NDTV Profit for more news: https://www.ndtvprofit.com/ Don't enter the stock market unaware.
