The City of Whyalla is celebrating five teens who competed at the 2026 H2 Grand Prix World Finals in Switzerland. Teams from around the globe faced off in an enduro race, after designing and engineering their own 1:10 scale remote-control cars powered entirely by hydrogen fuel cells. Teachers and students from Sunrise Christian School hosted a watch party to cheer on the students, including an all-female team who will soon be heading to Victoria to compete in a 2027 world qualifier.
