Coordinated attacks have hit several towns across Mali, with the military saying army positions were targeted in the north, centre and near the capital. The Azawad Liberation Front claimed responsibility for an attack in Anefis, while authorities said the situation is now under control after security forces responded. The latest violence comes as Mali continues to battle armed groups and separatist movements more than a decade into the conflict. Al Jazeera’s Malik Traina reports.
