Thousands of fans dressed in a sea of red gathered at LeBreton Flats for a massive free watch party to witness history. CTV's Josh Marano reports that the grounds were filled with excitement and anticipation from kickoff to the final whistle. The Government of Canada partnered with the city to host the event at the Ottawa Bluesfest site, which featured a stage and four massive screens for 15,000 to 20,000 spectators. Fans cancelled other reservations across the city to attend the match and expressed hope that Ottawa will implement similar large-scale events for the next tournament in four years.
