Sixty more Kenyans evacuated from South Africa arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport last night, bringing the total number of returnees to 240. The government is continuing its evacuation efforts amid renewed xenophobic attacks. Many of those repatriated returned empty-handed after abandoning businesses and investments they had built over the years. Others were forced to leave behind their spouses and children, including families with South African nationals. While most expressed relief at being back home, many now face an uncertain future.
