China has achieved a major milestone in its pursuit of commercial nuclear fusion as two domestically developed superconducting magnets successfully passed full-load testing. These critical components belong to the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak, popularly known as the "artificial sun." With the successful completion of these tests, project officials confirmed that 100% of the core technologies have now been localized. The experimental fusion device is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027, with the ultimate goal of producing China's first fusion-generated electricity around 2030.#coolchina 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDmcr2uuto8_DL2jg 👈 Download our APP on Apple Store (iOS): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cctvnews-app/id922456579?l=zh&ls=1&mt=8 Download our APP on Google Play (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imib.cctv For m
