Kim Petras' new record, Detour, is a worthy reintroduction after years of label issues. After a brief stint chasing mainstream pop stardom, the historic artist has put out her most personal work, dealing with her career insecurities, trans identity, and the need to just freak it. It's a worthy return to form that reminded me what being a bunhead is all about.
