Football's governing body, FIFA, has been accused of bowing to political pressure from Donald Trump, after it reversed USA striker Folarin Balogun's one-game suspension for a red card. Belgium, which plays USA tomorrow in the round of 16 knockout match, said the unprecedented move was against the spirit of the game. This is the first time since the 1970s that a player at a World Cup has had a red card suspension overturned.
