Record-breaking monsoon rain has battered Mumbai, Palghar and Raigad over the past several days, leaving at least 13 people dead in rain-related incidents, according to Maharashtra Disaster Management Minister Girish Mahajan. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad, warning of extremely heavy rainfall and strong winds. Flooding, landslides, tree falls and transport disruptions have affected normal life, prompting work-from-home advisories, a half-day for non-essential government offices and the adjournment of the Maharashtra Legislature amid the worsening weather situation. #MumbaiRains #Maharashtra #Monsoon #HeavyRain #IMD #RedAlert #Raigad #Palghar #Mumbai #WeatherUpdate #IndiaNews #FloodAlert Thank you for watching our video!
