Funeral processions began for Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei months after he was killed in the United States airstrike that started the war. Iran hasn’t offered an explanation for the absence of the new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and a senior Iranian official denied to NBC News media reports that he was badly injured or disfigured in the attack the killed his father.
