A notorious graffiti vandal known as Pam the Bird has scaled Melbourne's iconic Bolte Bridge, spray-painting their signature bird symbol at the top of one of the 140-metre towers. The incident has caused major traffic disruption with lane closures and reduced speed limits, while police and fire rescue crews wait at the base in a tense stand-off that began around 3am. The vandal may be Jack Gibson Burrell, who is awaiting trial for allegedly causing $700,000 worth of criminal damage across more than 200 offences at Melbourne landmarks including Flinders Street Station and the Novotel in Southbank.
