A critical dam breach at the Liulan Reservoir in Hengzhou, Nanning, has triggered a Level I flood emergency response. Fueled by torrential rain from Typhoon Maysak, the disaster has left two people dead and affected approximately 55,000 residents across the region, with 48,000 citizens urgently evacuated from the affected areas, according to an official briefing. Nanning upgraded its flood response from Level III to Level I on July 6. Currently, emergency crews from local fire, water resources and disaster relief departments are working around the clock, deploying drones to rescue stranded villagers trapped by rising waters. Concurrently, a temporary command post has been set up alongside County Road X474 near Dongxu Village in Hengzhou City to streamline ongoing rescue operations. 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDmcr2uuto8_DL2jg 👈 Download our APP on Apple Store (iOS): https://it
