President Trump departs tonight for Ankara, Turkey, for the annual NATO summit, where leaders are expected to focus on the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as the president's calls for European allies to take on a greater share of the alliance's defense burden. President Trump is also expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa. Before leaving Washington, he spoke with reporters at the White House during an event launching the new Trump Accounts program for children. We'll bring you some of those remarks. NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte is already in Ankara. He met with reporters today and addressed many of the same issues ahead of the summit. We'll hear from him as well. And later, we'll check in on Campaign 2026, with the latest developments in key Senate races in Maine, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, and Alaska.
