President Trump is arriving in Turkey today to attend the annual NATO Summit. Some of the many topics expected to be discussed include defense spending among NATO members, the Ukraine-Russia war and more. Today, NATO will reportedly showcase a series of new military projects worth billions to convince Trump that the allies are boosting defense spending, and the New York Times is reporting that Trump is expected to tell President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey that he is prepared to restore the country to a program that would allow it to purchase F-35 stealth fighter jets.
