According to a new report by Adelaide University, AI tools are not only changing the way young people are being sexually victimised online, they're also changing the way that young people deal with that abuse. The study reveals how often teens are being targeted with AI-generated sexual imagery and found that some victims are turning to AI chatbots for support. Researchers also found that, while girls are more likely to experience online victimisation, the victimisation young boys face is far more likely to involve AI.
