The US military launched a new wave of strikes on Iran overnight after three tankers were reportedly hit by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz. The strikes triggered an explosion at the port of Bandar Abbas, where a fire continues to burn. In response, Iran said it targeted US military sites in Kuwait and Bahrain.
