A 39-year-old mother was fatally stabbed inside her Vermont home in Melbourne just before 10 o'clock at night. Her 39-year-old husband was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital under police guard, while their two children, aged 13 and 7, are left traumatised. The couple, originally from India, had moved into the neighbourhood two years ago, and investigators are piecing together evidence as charges are yet to be laid.
