Dr. Osama Abdelhay explores the power of calibration, the science of knowing not only what a model predicts, but how much we should trust it. Through biostatistics, epidemiology, and machine learning, this talk reveals why the future of health decision-making must be built on models that are not only intelligent, but reliable, transparent, and honest about uncertainty. Dr. Osama Abdelhay earned his PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom in 2012, after completing his master’s degree in Biometry at the same university in 2006 and his bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics from Yarmouk University in 2004. His research focuses on bio and medical statistics, communicable and non-communicable diseases, epidemiology, biostatistical methods, and the use of machine learning in medical scienc
