What happens when Disney remakes a movie that already worked perfectly the first time? Today I’m reviewing the live-action Moana, and while it is not terrible, it is also nothing special. In this Moana live-action movie review, I break down why this remake is just fine, why it never fully justifies its existence, and why it constantly made me ask one major question: why am I not just watching the original animated movie?
