In today's Daily Fix: After Sony's bombshell anouncement that they would no longer release first-party titles on physical discs, many gamers took to the PlayStation Network webpage to unsubscribe from PlayStation Plus. But analysts say that even if hundreds of thousands of gamers unsubbed from PS Plus, it's a drop in the bucket to PlayStation's overall business model and would likely not persuade them to keep supporting physical media. In other gaming news, Bernie Sanders has taken aim at Xbox, posting on social media that the company's mass layoffs and hardware price troubles are more evidence that corporate tax breaks do nothing to create or even save jobs. And on a bittersweet note, Bungie offered a farewell gift for their Destiny 2 fans as a 'thank you' for years of support before formally ending major updates for the game.
