The King used a stethoscope to help give a “very well behaved” penguin a health check during a trip to London Zoo. King Charles, who was accompanied by Queen Camilla, braved the baking hot sun today and joined a zoo vet as he checked over a Humboldt penguin during the visit in Camden today. Dozens of penguins, about two feet tall, gathered to greet to royals as the couple approached their enclosure. Crouching down, his majesty used a red stethoscope to check the heartbeat of a penguin named Lannister.
