LBC’s Lewis Goodall joins Shelagh Fogarty to talk about Count Binface’s chances in Clacton, and how damaging the fight might be for Nigel Farage. Count Binface told Andrew Marr on Wednesday that he is 'quietly confident' about his chances in the upcoming Clacton by-election. Nigel Farage resigned as Clacton’s MP on Tuesday, forcing a by-election in the Essex constituency, which he has called a 'people vs the establishment' referendum, following the scrutiny he received over gifts he accepted. All the other main parties have said they won’t stand in an election that Sir Keir Starmer has branded a 'stunt', leaving Count Binface as Nigel Farage’s only opposition.
