When 8-year-old Madeline heard her neighbor, Ethan, playing guitar outside, she sent over a paper airplane with a handwritten request for him to play a song by Taylor Swift. She didn't expect that the moment would catch the attention of the pop superstar. “One of my favorite parts of this story is that we didn’t actually know our neighbor. He had moved in before winter, and we never properly introduced ourselves,” said Natalie Hulec, Madeline's mom. “We also had no idea he was a full-time musician. Watching people celebrate not only his kindness but also discover his incredible talent was such an unexpected bonus.”
