At flood-hit areas in southern China, hundreds of drones can be seen buzzing through the low skies. They are operated by volunteers who have rushed in from across the country, taking on critical tasks such as delivering supplies and evacuating residents from areas inaccessible by vehicles. One drone pilot said that more than 400 volunteers are connected through a spontaneous group chat, coordinating closely with one another and with local authorities. Local agricultural departments have also mobilized agricultural and cargo drones to support rescue efforts. Chinese drone manufacturer DJI Agriculture announced on July 8 that it would provide free repairs for all drone models used in flood rescue operations. From companies to ordinary citizens, people across China are finding their own ways to help. 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDmcr2uuto8_DL2jg 👈 Download our APP on Apple Store (
