We still think of digital technologies as products, but over the last couple of decades, first slowly then rapidly, they have become architectures, virtual spaces within which we live and work, and whose rules are established by their developers and owners. In this conversation, Bruno Giussani, former European director of TED and author of "Our Minds Under Siege: How to Avoid Being Manipulated in the Age of AI" and Katerina Biliouri, curator and co-founder of Lemondrop, discuss the meaning of this technological evolution for our lives and explore how AI, as the old Greeks would say, is a "pharmakon": at the same time remedy and poison, help and threat.
