A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Ann Widdecombe. Devon and Cornwall Police had been hunting “a white male” after the former Tory minister was found dead at her home in Dartmoor, Devon, on Thursday morning at the age of 78. At a press conference, Asst Chief Constable Matt Longman said that a white British man had been arrested at an address in Newton Abbot, a nearby town in Devon.
