I've bought 3 of them in the past, each either broke or ended up collecting dust because it was too difficult to play. The jamstik, however, is actually a REAL GUITAR. It plays and sounds great, and does everything a guitar needs to do. But it has this incredible bonus of a USB connection that transfers everything into MIDI without severe latency. To clarify - there IS latency, as there is with all digital recording, but it's quite managable as a live patch. And since it's MIDI, you can record your parts and move them around in time if need be. The only time the instrument "breaks" is if you play really quickly on the same note - it can't seem to track tremolo picking well. However, fast passages across strings and frets seem to record well as long as they're accurately played. Overall, the instrument is a joy. It makes my life easier because I often double my guitar p
