I have heard 1000 times, Never make projects for family or friends. Being perfectly honest, that's what I love the most about woodworking. At least for now. This project is a Bible holder, / book holder. It's a custom style that is not out in the wild too often, i use this awesome joinery method, called a locking mitre, works very well.
