Warning: This report from our North of England Reporter Amy Welch contains details of the injuries sustained by victims, which you may find upsetting. A first responder who helped save the life of a child stabbed in the Southport Attack is inspiring others with his mission to heal the mental wounds. Barry Calder, who was working as a Police Community Support Officer on the day of the stabbings, was one of the first on the scene and immediately began triaging the very young victims. The mother of one of the girls Barry helped has told ITV News that if he hadn't treated her then her daughter would probably have died. We're calling the mother "Louise" because a court order prevents any of the injured girls or their families from being identified. Now Barry has just completed 5 marathons in 5 days to raise money for the mental health support he says is vital for all the survivors. By his side during the charity challenge was Louise's daughter. ------------------------------------
