As Lewis Denison explains, servicewomen are set to have their fitness, nutrition and recovery revolutionised under a world-first dedicated arduous training guide for women in the Armed Forces. The handbook delivers the first Defence-specific guidance on female physiology in military training, drawing on a decade of research and lived experience. The launch of the guide - intended for immediate use in training and preparation - will ensure women across all three Services have sex-specific guidance in training requirements, nutritional support, and health protection, helping to boost the UK’s warfighting readiness and effectiveness. #politics @itvnews • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.itv.com/news Follow ITV News on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@itvnews?lang=en Follow ITV News on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on
