Kiambu County has expanded its public healthcare network with the construction of 26 new Level Three hospitals and six Level Four facilities in a major push to improve access to quality medical services. The projects have added more than 1,600 hospital beds and included the installation of modern diagnostic and treatment equipment worth over 500 million shillings. According to Governor Kimani Wamatangi, the investments are expected to strengthen service delivery and reduce the need for residents to seek treatment in private hospitals.
