Lawyers across several parts of the country took to the streets on Friday to protest the killings of two of their colleagues, calling for enhanced security and protection for members of the legal fraternity. Led by the Law Society of Kenya, the demonstrators demanded answers from investigators over the circumstances surrounding the deaths of advocates Edward Kariuki Muthee and Esther Wairimu Keige. They urged authorities to expedite investigations and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
