Flooding has become a constant part of life for 23-year-old Aubrey May Tapuic. Her home in the Philippines is hit by floods so often that her family has spent more than 50,000 pesos (S$1,060) raising it. Yet, every flood brings fresh damage and more costly repairs. Now interning at a hotel in Manila, Aubrey hopes education and a stable job will help her break the cycle.
