US Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) said Israeli settlers detained him for more than an hour during a visit to the southern West Bank this week, CNN’s Oren Liebermann reports. The incident took place before Khanna's visit to Turmus Ayya, where thousands of Palestinian-Americans say they also face repeated settler attacks. Update: After the posting of this video, CNN received the following statement from the IDF - “Upon receiving the report, IDF troops were dispatched to the scene, quickly dispersed the Israeli civilians, and reopened the blocked road. The IDF soldiers operating in the area did not take part in blocking the road.”
