Kiambu records rise in ECDE enrolment

The Kiambu County government says enrolment in public Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) centres has risen significantly over the past three years following increased investment in the sector. The county attributes the growth to the construction of new classrooms, the introduction of a school feeding programme and the provision of free learning materials, saying the reforms have improved access to quality pre-primary education.
