Typhoon Bavi, the ninth typhoon of the year, made landfall on the coast of east China's Zhejiang Province on Saturday. After moving inland, the storm is expected to continue tracking northwestward and gradually weaken. Typhoon Bavi is forecast to bring torrential rain to Zhejiang's coastal, central, and southern areas overnight, followed by heavy-to-torrential downpours in western areas on Sunday. Local authorities are fully mobilized to fortify defense lines. Follow CGTN for the latest updates.
