Pakistan has intensified deportations of Afghan nationals after a government deadline for undocumented migrants passed, citing worsening security conditions. Thousands of families, some who have lived in Pakistan for decades, are now travelling through the Khyber Pass with whatever belongings they can carry. Many say they have no official ties to Afghanistan, having built homes, businesses and educations in Pakistan, leaving them facing an uncertain future in a country they barely know. Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from Khyber, Pakistan.
