The identity of a Sydney childcare worker accused of hundreds of child abuse offences has been revealed after a court lifted a non-publication order. Hamish Tait is facing 329 charges involving 158 alleged child victims, making it the largest alleged childcare abuse case in Australian history if proven in court. Police say 22 children are yet to be identified and are appealing for the public's help.
