US launches new wave of strikes against Iran, aimed at ‘degrading’ military

US forces have carried out more attacks on Iran as the standoff for the Strait of Hormuz intensifies. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed it hit dozens of targets in Iran overnight. The port cities of Bandar Abbas, Sirik and Jask have been hit. Qeshm Island, off the coast of Iran, was also targeted. Iranian media say at least one person has been killed and four others wounded.
