Counter-terrorism police are now leading the investigation into the death of Ann Widdecombe, after “new information and evidence has come to light”. Counter Terrorism Policing South East made the announcement on Monday following the re-arrest of 28-year-old man. The suspect was initially taken into custody on Saturday evening after being arrested on suspicion of murder in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
