Counter-terror police (CTP) are now leading the investigation into the suspected murder of former minister Ann Widdecombe as "new information and evidence have come to light", Counter Terrorism Policing South East said.  Widdecombe was found dead in her home on Thursday, and a murder investigation was subsequently launched.
