Goldman Sachs has reportedly turned constructive on Indian equities, projecting that the Nifty 50 could reach 26,500 by June 2027—implying nearly 10% upside from current levels. The bullish outlook is supported by lower commodity prices, easing inflation, a more stable rupee, resilient domestic demand and the possibility of earnings upgrades in select sectors. Foreign investors’ underweight positioning in India could also leave room for fresh inflows.
