The ABC has obtained the Brisbane Olympics Committee's hospitality register through Right to Information laws. The register reveals numerous examples of businesses and sporting organisations offering hospitality as they seek to build relationships ahead of the 2032 Games. Some gifts from a mixed martial-arts organisation were so extravagant the Brisbane Organising Committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games did not retain them. Some sports and businesses listed on the register declined to comment on specific hospitality. But Cricket Australia said local fixtures allowed it to show the game's impact to stakeholders, Tennis Australia was "keen to share our expertise and offer our support", while Netball Australia said it would "promote our strong value proposition and what we can contribute to the Games' overall success".
