Shadow culture secretary Nigel Huddlestone has said he has changed his mind on reaching net zero by 2050 because "it's doing immense damage to the UK economy and causing unemployment". Responding on BBC Two's Politics Live, environmental campaigner Daze Aghaji said "this is not long-term thinking this is short-term thinking and it's extremely dangerous...our country is quite literally on fire right now, how dare you." Labour MP Jess Asato also joined part of the discussion. For the latest news download the BBC News app or visit BBC.com/news #PoliticsLive #BBCNews
