31-year-old Singaporean Magdalene Huang knew moving to Sweden would mean taking home less pay. She did it anyway. Between higher taxes, a higher cost of living and putting her CPF contributions on hold, living overseas came with financial trade-offs. But for Mag, the opportunity to work with people from around the world and learn new ways of communicating has been just as valuable.
